Tim is the principal member of DFG. He is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designee and a Registered Investment Adviser with a law degree. Tim has built a practice dedicated to helping individuals and families identify and exceed their personal goals. With his diverse experience in investments, insurance, and law, Tim's unique background enables him to bring clarity and provide effective financial solutions for DFG's clients.
Tim lives in Allendale with his wife, Melissa, and their three children. He has been a coach and a mentor in the community for the past 20 years.

Jason Armenti, JD*, LLM
Advisor
Jason is a seasoned independent advisor with more than two decades of experience working with high-net-worth business owners and retirees. He has a law degree and a master’s degree in taxation. He uses his background and experience to help clients navigate estate planning pitfalls and provide well-crafted investment strategies, going beyond what he feels are the all too common sales and commission-based shortcomings that underserve the investing public. Attention to detail and staying abreast of ever-changing laws and regulations are paramount to delivering a customized plan that works for each client.
When not in the office, he’s on the road seeing clients and driving somewhere between the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia, and Manhattan. Lots of windshield time drinking Dunkin' Donuts coffee and listening to the comedy channel.
Jason grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Bridgewater, New Jersey, with his wife, Kimberly, and their two children, Jack (age 7) and Sienna (age 10). Like most busy parents, his weekends are filled with running around with the kids and spending what feels like an eternity at soccer tournaments watching the kids’ games. When not on the sidelines, Jason can be found coaching Jack’s baseball team and Sienna’s basketball team.

Julie Liverance
Administrative Associate
Julie joined Duncan Financial Group in September 2010 as an administrative associate. In this role, she handles a number of operational duties, from fielding telephone inquiries to researching special projects that are both client and technology related. Prior to joining DFG, Julie worked for three years as a customer service representative for a small family-owned business.
Her family includes her husband, Dave; two children; and a lovely daughter-in-law. In her free time, she is actively engaged in community service and enjoys socializing with friends and family, cooking, playing with her dog, and learning new things.
Melissa Duncan
Administrative Assistant
Melissa joined the Duncan Financial Group team in January 2019. She works closely with Loren and Julie to help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and to provide exceptional support services to our clients. In addition, Melissa maintains our calendar, our compliance registrations, and administrative recordkeeping. Her business background includes personal and commercial insurance management and underwriting.
Melissa lives in Allendale with her husband, Tim, and has been active as a member of both the Board of Education and the Library Board. She has been an avid fan of everything in which her children have chosen to participate for the past 20 years.
Reyna Villar
Administrative Assistant
Reyna joined the Duncan Financial Group team in August 2023. She works closely with Melissa, Julie, and Ghada to help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and to provide support to our clients.
Reyna graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in International Business. While attending Quinnipiac, Reyna was the president of Women Empowered and the Residence Hall Council, and director of finance for the Multicultural Leadership Council.
Reyna loves sports and was an athlete growing up and has continued to keep sports a part of her daily life. Reyna was the manager for the women’s lacrosse team at Quinnipiac and now coaches girls’ soccer at her old high school, Paramus Catholic. Reyna lives in Suffern with her mom, Kelley; brother, Zach; and sister, Sophia.
Ghada Hart
Administrative Assistant
Ghada joined the Duncan Financial Group team in August 2023. She works closely with Melissa, Julie, and Reyna to help manage the day-to-day operations of the office and to provide support to our clients.
Ghada, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs, both in its New York City and London offices, and LPL Financial, has invaluable expertise in client transactions, compliance, and communications. Her strong organizational skills and intuitive nature are a welcome addition to our team.
Ghada lives in Upper Saddle River with her husband, Jonathan, and their two daughters, Rania and Hannah. Ghada loves to travel and often visits her husband’s family in England. Ghada and her family are actively engaged in community service. She is a volunteer at Valley Hospital, both her daughters are student representatives on the Upper Saddle River Environmental Committee, and both her husband and her daughter Hannah are volunteers at the Upper Saddle River Fire Department.
